Sentinel-2

ESA's twin satellite mission providing free, high-resolution multispectral imagery globally.

Sentinel-2 is a constellation of two satellites (2A and 2B) operated by the European Space Agency as part of the Copernicus program. They provide multispectral imagery in 13 bands with spatial resolutions of 10m, 20m, and 60m.

With a combined revisit time of 5 days at the equator (2-3 days at mid-latitudes), Sentinel-2 is ideal for agricultural monitoring. The data is freely available through the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem, making it the backbone of modern precision farming.
