Copernicus Programme

The EU's Earth observation programme providing free environmental data and services.

Copernicus is the European Union's Earth observation programme, coordinated by the European Commission and implemented by ESA. It provides continuous, accurate, and freely accessible environmental data through a family of Sentinel satellites.

For agriculture, Copernicus offers Sentinel-2 optical imagery and Sentinel-1 radar data, enabling all-weather monitoring. The Copernicus Land Monitoring Service also provides derived products like crop type maps and phenology indicators.
